Fitoor of Punjab: Sharry Maan

Beginning his musical career at a very young age, Sharry Maan has become an international heartthrob, making his mark in the Punjabi music industry. Maan has provided hits after hits for his fans.

Sharry Maan created wonders with “Yaar Anmulle” by breaking all previous records for an unsigned Punjabi singer on the internet. His early influence and inspiration was Gurdass Maan who he considers his musical Guru.

“Yaar Anmulle” was Sharry Maan’s first album which was released under the label Speed Records. The album became a massive hit in the Punjabi Music Industry. Maan won the Best Debut Male Singer Award of Punjabi Music Award (PTC) and his album was nominated for the Punjabi Music Award on PTC  in five different categories.

Sharry Maan treats stumbling blocks as stepping stones. His fans love him for being the humble artist he is. Using cultural beats and desi hip-hop culture from around the world, Sharry’s music captures intended meaning and initiates and motivates young enthusiasts. Sharry Mann’s new hit “Hashtag” earned about 2 million views and an enormous fan base in Canada.

Sharry Maan debuted as an actor in 2013 with Oye Hoye Pyaar Ho Gya. Later that year, Manik Goyal released the film Ishq Garaari starring Maan. The film was a hit at the box office and Sharry Maan was appreciated for his performance in the film.
